Popular Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest has empowered women in Imo State through a large-scale distribution of beauty kits valued at ₦40 million.
The initiative, executed under the City Boy Movement, saw 250 makeup kits handed out to women across the state. The event took place in Owerri and focused on promoting entrepreneurship, particularly within the beauty and cosmetics sector.
Addressing participants at the event, Cubana Chiefpriest explained that the effort was designed to go beyond simple donations, positioning it as a tool for long-term economic empowerment.
“We are here to empower women. These makeup kits are not just gifts—they are a means for these women to create sustainable businesses, support their families, and achieve financial independence,” he said.
More than 250 women from various communities benefited from the programme, with many expressing gratitude for the opportunity to access resources that could help them grow their ventures. Several beneficiaries noted that the kits would serve as a foundation for building income streams and establishing themselves in the beauty industry.
Emphasising the broader vision behind the initiative, he added:
“This initiative is part of our continuous effort through the City Boy Movement to uplift communities, support women, and create opportunities for economic growth.”
