Blessing CEO has shared a candid update about her health, revealing that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
In an emotional post on her Instagram page, Blessing CEO explained that medical professionals have recommended urgent surgery, which may involve the removal of one or both breasts to halt the progression of the disease. She acknowledged that making this decision has been extremely difficult, citing the emotional and personal toll it has taken on her.
She also opened up about the financial challenges she is facing due to the diagnosis, explaining that she has been forced to seek public support to fund the surgery. Previously, she revealed plans to sell some of her belongings, including her car, wigs, and Lagos home, to raise money for treatment.
In the video, she provided her account details for donations and appealed to her followers for help:
“My name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO. I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. At this point, urgent surgery is needed to remove tissue and stop the spread, or to determine how far it has spread. Whether they remove one breast or both, it was a very hard decision to come to this point. But when challenges like this come, you realize how powerless you can be. I might not be able to work or use my resources as I normally would, and that’s why I’m here asking for help. If I’ve ever touched your life positively, this is the time to show your support.
“Thank you so much for all the love. My phone has been buzzing. Nothing is too small. I just want to be fine. I will share an account number to help start the surgery as soon as possible.
